Explore UNO is a new program designed to give admitted students, as well as students who are still deciding on a college the opportunity to learn more about the academic programs at UNO. Held on February 27, Explore UNO is a smaller version of our open house in the Fall, Get 2 Know UNO. With all 5 colleges represented as well as Financial Aid and Student Affairs prospective students were able to get a feel of what UNO is like. After the department browse, the students and parents heard a introduction for Dave Meredith, Director of Enrollment Services and Emily Srofe and Brandan Bonds, the personalities behind the marketing campaign Follow Me 2 UNO. There were then breakout sessions in Financial Aid, diversity, what steps to do next and involvement on campus. The night ended at the Cove where a graduate music student preformed his recital in front of a packed Sandbar.
